Dear Thom, Marcy, and Galaxynet's staff:

My seven-year tenure at Galaxynet, now under L.M. Thomas & Associates, has been the most challenging and satisfying period of my professional career; I regret having to make a difficult decision.

As you know, over the last five or so months, we have had our differences of opinion regarding the operation and goals of Galaxynet and its new Internet Cafe. These conflicts have affected the work environment, and have left me feeling uncertain about the future of Galaxynet and my role as a partner. In retrospect, it is clear to me that we will not be able to resolve our differences, both personally and professionally.

Although I have enjoyed working at Galaxynet and have learned a great deal, my job duties have not changed in the seven years I have been with the company. While you have been adequately fair in terms of compensation, in the three and a half years that L.M. Thomas & Associates has controlled Galaxynet, I have not received any additional salary, eventhough my duties have expanded and the cost of living has increased steadily. Of late, I have felt the increasing need to explore outside job possibilities. I feel the need to grow professionally as well as financially.

As a result, I have requested and accepted a proposal for a position at another company and must inform you that effective June 05, 2004, I will be resigning from my duties at Galaxynet and L.M. Thomas & Associates.

This has been a difficult and heartbreaking decision to make, and I assure you it was not made in anger or haste. I have seven years of loyalty and sweat equity in Galaxynet; I consider you and Galaxynet's customers my second family.

I hope you can understand my decision to leave Galaxynet. I will truly be sad on my last day, as I was while writing this letter. I would be happy to meet with you at your convenience to calmly and profesionally discuss my decision.

Sincerely,
