Being in the hacking mood, I decided to look for any updates to the XBOX Media Center which I installed on my hacked XBOX a little over a year ago. I read on some Internet forum that there are XBMC modules available I can install to view streams from a hacked TiVo on a hacked XBOX. Yes, both of my TiVos are hacked, so this was something that interested me.
I found and installed the newest XBMC, and it’s pretty fucking cool. The attached screenshot is the web server interface to XBMC on the XBOX. Now the TiVo and the XBOX have web servers for controlling the cool things these hacked devices can do.
As you can see from the screenshot, I can play music and videos, or view pictures from the XBOX’s DVD drive, the hard drive partitions, shares on a Windows network, SAMBA shares on my Linux machine, or an XBOX Media Streaming Protocol server running on Linux.
