It’s cold on Whidbey Island. There’s a nice high pressure system off the coast that’s churning cold Canadian air down our way, making the temperature dip into the mid-20s. Officially, according to KING 5 TV, the temperature dipped to 26°F (-3°C). But at my house, the thermometer registered 21°F (-6°C) at 4:45am. The picture is of the windshield of my Mustang, showing the cool frost pattern. My breath was fogging up and freezing on the inside of the windshield. We’re not used to this cold! The normal lows around here are usually in the mid-30s to low-40s.
